ACM structure
At the local level, Aboriginal Catholic Ministries (ACMs) are the ministries working directly in community. They are the lifeblood of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Ministry — supporting liturgy, pastoral care, cultural leadership, youth engagement and connection to Country within parishes and dioceses.
It is through these local ministries, and the structures that support them at State and Territory level, that Councillors are appointed to NATSICC. Each Councillor represents their State or Territory, with Youth also represented nationally, ensuring that community voices shape the direction of the Church at a national level.
