Memorials

This Memorial page honours those that are no longer with us and who worked tirelessly in their communities and made a lasting contribution to their communities and the life of the Catholic Church in Australia.

It is important that we remember and give thanks for those who have gone before us — the Elders, leaders, advocates, and community members whose faith, culture, wisdom and commitment have helped shape the path we walk today.

Their lives remind us that our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identity and our Catholic faith are both sources of strength, belonging and hope. Through their service, they strengthened their communities, enriched the Church and created opportunities for the generations that follow.

We honour their memory, give thanks for all they have shared, and continue the journey they helped begin.

May they rest in peace, and may their legacy continue to guide and inspire us.
