NATSICC News May 2016
NATSICC Spirituality retreat - Alice Springs
50 people working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ministry came together in Alice Springs for the first NATSICC Formation retreat to renew their spirit and receive formation of their faith. They were welcomed by local Elder Felicity Hayes and were blessed to have several other Elders share the week with us, including MK from Santa Teresa. Their wisdom and spirituality provided us with a wonderful foundation for the event.
It was a wonderful week and delegates went home renewed in their Faith and Spirit - ready for the challenges that may lie ahead.

Acknowledgements and Welcome to Country play an important role in the Reconciliation process. NATSICC and the Bishops Commission have developed a booklet to guide parishes, schools and organisations when planning events and requiring an Acknowledgement of Traditional Owners or a Welcome to Country.
