NATSICC Youth Leadership Gathering
The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Council (NATSICC) is also planning a Youth Leadership Gathering, bringing together young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholics from across Australia. Recognising that young people are vital to the future of the Church and community, the gathering will focus on strengthening faith, cultural identity and leadership among the next generation.
The gathering will also support the establishment of a National Youth Ambassador Network, designed to connect young leaders and provide ongoing support to the work of the Council. Through mentoring, formation and shared experience, the network will help ensure that youth voices are present in the life of the Church and in the future direction of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic ministry. The location and date of the gathering are currently being finalised.

I Am The Vine...You Are The Branches - 2021 Virtual Retreat
By embracing technology, we were able to share in rich visual reflections which allowed participants to explore their own journeys of faith from the comfort of their own home. The virtual yarning circles were something that we had some reservations about, however the enthusiasm of the participants combined with the skill of the facilitators meant that they too were a great success. By randomizing the yarning circles in each session, participants had the opportunity to meet new people and listen to different stories.
