Cameron is currently employed by Catholic Education Office in Townsville. He was voted in as the NATSICC Youth Councillor by the youth Delegates at the 2009 NATSICC National Assembly in Brisbane.

Rebirth:

"Rebirth" was created by the Youth participants at the 2003 NATSICC National Assembly in Adelaide and depicts the event's theme:

The Time for Rebirth is Now...

Adelaide artist Delwyn Mannix was commissioned to create the charred tree against the ochre hued sky and was inspired by Pope John Paul II's address to Aboriginal people in Alice Springs.

Each youth has painted a leaf that depicts something about their home, their faith and their hope for the future. These symbolise the new life of the tree bursting from the charred trunk and Indigenous Youth's role in the Catholic Church in Australia today.
