Gifts for home stay Pilgrims
The Aboriginal Catholic Ministry Melbourne has released several gifts for home stay families to give to their World Youth Day Pilgrims. From Handcrafts to DVD, its is hoped that overseas youth will leave our shores with an appreciation fo Indigenous culture.

20th Anniversary Mass to be shown on Foxtel's Aurora Channel during 2008
Tune into Aurora during September to view the footage from the 20th Anniversary Celebrations of Pope John Paul II's visit to Australia and his landmark address to Aboriginal people. This is the first feature NATSICC has produced and it was recently premiered at the Catholic Women's League National Conference to great commendations. Check guide for program times.

THE NATSICC Online Store is now open! Indigenous Catholic Christmas Cards are available. Richard Campbell and Duwun Lee have their work exhibited on the front of the Christmas Cards. Richard Campbell has a contemporary style that contrasts Duwun Lee's traditional Style. Hats, shirts and commemorative medallions are also available. Please take the time to visit.



Adelaide ACM installs Stained Glass Windows
The Aboriginal Catholic Ministry in Adelaide this month received their brand new Stained Glass Windows after several years of planning. With the help of Caritas Australia, the St Martin de Porres Chapel - located in the Otherway Centre - is now bathed with rich colours throughout the day. The glass uses earth tones with circular references melded in with traditional Catholic symbols. World Youth Day 2005 Update
In the lead up to the 2008 World Youth Day in Sydney, former Tasmanian NATSICC Councillor Kara Williams has written a report of her journey and experiences at the 2005 WYD in Cologne, Germany.

In addition there is a link to a gallery of photographs taken during Pope Benedict XVII's first WYD as our new Pope.
