Kerrie Hogan is a Wonnarua woman (Singleton NSW) but has lived in Canberra for the last 20 years.

Kerrie is married with 7 children (aged from 26 years – 10 years and all with very diverse interests). She has completed a Community Education degree and Graduate Diploma of Education. Kerrie will continue her journey of learning by studying for a Masters Degree in Aboriginal Education.

In 2004 Kerrie worked with Stan Grant senior evaluating the Wiradjuri Language Development Project and has since maintained a strong interest in Aboriginal languages.

From January 2007 Kerrie took up the role as Indigenous Education Officer for the Canberra Goulburn Archdiocese. Previously Kerrie worked with the ACT Department of Education and Training as an Indigenous Home School Liaison Officer.

Kerrie’s strengths lie in being able to build inclusive community networks and develop positive partnerships between Catholic schools and their local Indigenous communities.
